Businesses Come Together to Clean Up Brampton Estate
There is no better feeling than when a community bands together to make a difference. This Tuesday, despite the morning's rain, representatives from a range of businesses based in and around Brampton Estate, including organisers Sacha, Luke and Kirsty from Fieldskill, came together to clean up the area.
The group met outside Fieldskill, where they were given red and black Robert Scott litter pickers, bin bags, and protective gloves. They then set off to tackle the litter that had been accumulating on the estate.
To their surprise, they were met with more rubbish than they could have imagined. They soon filled fifteen bin bags full of empty cans, food packets, cigarette ends, and plastic waste.
Despite the conditions, the group worked hard and made a real difference to the environment. They cleaned up several streets, and the area was left looking much tidier.
The litter picking exercise was not only a chance to clean up the environment, but also to build community spirit. The group got to know each other better and made new connections.
At Fieldskill, we believe that when businesses work together, they can achieve great things. This litter picking exercise was a great example of how we can come together to make a difference. We are proud to have been a part of this project and we look forward to working with other businesses in the area to continue to improve our community.
We encourage other businesses to get involved in community activities. By working together, we can make our community a better place to live, work, and visit.
Special thanks to all the businesses who got involved with the Brampton Estate Clean Up:
